Flipkart was launched in the year 2007 and got incorporated in October 2008 as "Flipkart Online Services Pvt. Ltd". The company was created by two individuals named Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal studied at the "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi" that previously worked for "Amazon.com".
