I had taken jeevan suraksha plan and paid annual premium at rupees 10, 000 per annum. I received a communication from salem branch that the surrender value of my policy as rupees 1, 87, 704. After deducting penalty of rupees 8313/- the amount payable to me was indicated in writing as rupees 1, 79, 391. 00. Accepting this, i surrendered the policy. Alas, to my dismay, i was credited with a sum of rupees 1, 26, 167 only without giving any reason for short payment. The amount credited to my account works out to the amountpaid by me by way of premium. I fail to understand as to how one value was indicated and then the actual amount paid was short by as high as rupees 53, 224. 00. The policy number is 701673836 and thepolicy was issued by LIC, Salem. My mobile number is 9442642334. I feel i was punished for investing my hard earned money in LIC. Pl make arrangements for payment of short credited amount along with interest.

I have paid premium for the two policies mentioned hereunder through salary savings scheme while I was working as Vice-principal and Professor of Electrical Engineering at SSM College of Engineering, Komarapalayam till July 2013.

I have resigned my job due to unforeseen circumstances in my family and I went to pay premium meant for August 2013 at LIC, GOBICHETTIPALAYAM: 638 452 by mentioning the PA CODE: 0031116070 told by the auditor (S and SELVARAJ 9789733558). He refused to accept the cheque and told me to pay only at LIC, KOMARAPALAYAM: 638 183.

I also sent a requisition to LIC, KOMARAPALAYAM to transfer the policies to LIC, GOBICHETTIPALAYAM 20 days before and my request is not sincerely acknowledged.
