Hello, I purchased a Dewalt DCD795 D2 from Amazon on 22 September 2017 as a Xmas prexent for my son. On using it for the first time last week he found the drill caused bits to wobble, which resulted in the holes produced as not fit for purpose. I Bought a hammer drill which it is very good, it came with a drill as part of combi drill kit, i have only used the other drill twice as you can see by picture. I have a Dewalt impact driver which i use instead. To my surprise after taking some screws out of door frame the chuck head came of gun with springs showing, i showed my fellow tradesman what had happened they were shocked and told me to get in touch with you straight away which i have. Dear Sir /Madam
I purchased on 2/3/16 a pair of Dewalt safety boots called parflo in Broadheath Altincham Cheshire
I must say the boots were very comfortable from the start I had no problems breaking them in
But I have to say I am very disappointed with the length of life as they are now only fit for the bin as the sole has worn out and has split on both boots
I normally buy a pair of boots every 18 months, but these have only lasted five months
I thought when I purchased the boots I had bought quality as with all Dewalt products
I have a yearly allowance provided by my employer so I like to purchase items that are good value
I have retained the boots and would be willing to post them back to you for your inspection
I am six foot two inches tall and weigh 15 stone my job is within the traffic management industry

Hi I have no complant, I have just replaced all my battrey tools with 18v dewalt, I think you have overtaken the blue by a long shot, the one tool no one seems to be makeing is a battery 1/4inch router with a plunge base that could be used with a 16mm guide for hanging doors, my thinking is the power would only need to be minimal as every joiner I see or work with are only useing them on doors either with a jig or freehand come on dewalt be the first please. My brother recently purchased a DWE7491GE compact table top saw WITH roller stand (dwe74911) in the USA through Amazon for just under $580 USD (or £400 GBP approx). He is absolutely delighted with it and has highly recommended it to me. We are both Carpenters. I've sorced and priced the very same table saw and roller stand here in the UK at £738 and £180 respectively. Thats £918, double the price., plus another £118. I've naturally tried to purchase it directly from the United States as I've Successfully purchased simular sized items from there before, but this time I've failed. Can you please enlightened me as to why its so expensive from UK retailers?
Could I purchased it directly from Dewalt UK, at a simular price that its been sold for (through Amazon) in the US?
As I've said, I'm a Carpenter/Joiner and I have, (and have had) lots of Dewalt products and power tools now and for the last 20years. Can you please help. Regards

This is the second unit i have owned in four years and the second time the selector switch on the transmission has failed. I bought a dewalt dw745 a short while ago and just got round to set it up. First thing I had to do was some lining up of the fence. That I understand and expected. What I am most upset about is the fact that the table is not flat and the plate around the blade is a nightmare to get flush with table, which is also kind of expected. The table not being flat though is just terrible for a cast alloy bed. I had faith in Dewalt until now. I am a professional carpenter and have been for 30 years. I have had experience with many kinds of machinery and did not expect this problem with dewalt. I will not be buying any more supposedly accurate power tools from you. I am now going to have to skim the table to get it flat, so that it can be used. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Hello David here. I have a dewalt tile wet saw which i bought 11 months ago. I bought this because I am self employed now and I worked with the same machine for seven years whilst being employed. Brilliant machine that was until it started smoking and giving me electric shocks so I took it back to get it serviced. After getting it back I noticed straight away that it has been damaged after being serviced. In fact it has been dropped so badly that it's totally out if alignment and bits broken off screws missing and handles loose. I rely on this machine heavily and so expected to get a professionally serviced machine back and not one which had been dropped. My service reference number is 7981382616. I ordered a new motor for a dewalt d27105 at elcocks york. The new motor arrived and the first thing which was noticed was that the mounting plate was not threaded for the bolts! it was also seen to be an upgraded part with a new switch and wiring loom. It had instructions to download sb164 service bulletin for installation instructions, this was done. However, when it came to reassemble the parts, the wiring diagram on sb614 did not match the wiring on the new loom sent with the motor. It would appear that the red and black wire have been crossed over needless to say with this situation the saw cannot be connected up to work safely. I cannot be sure that the right part has been sent for the gb market as there is no code to check? this has resulted in a great deal of wasted time, with the end result that the saw is still not operational i am returning the complete saw and parts to elcocks york next week. I hope de walt will look upon this complaint favourably with some recompense.
