On the 23rd of April i had been to the edgars Pavillion store to purchase a watch. For more than ten minutes both the employees standing at the watch counter did not offer any help to us. When we finally asked for assistance, the guy did not seem happy to help and neither did he offer any advice on the watches. Extremely bad service from you online division. Called five times before anyone could give me an answer and was disconnected four times by who ever. On the 14/11/2014, I sent my helper to inquire why my proof of purchase made no sense. Two items from the mango department was purchased, denim shirt for R699 and a stone color dress for R549. But my receipt showed the items for R599 and below it had -R599 transactional discount and the other item showed R549 and below it had -R549 transactional discount, total paid appeared as R0, 00
When my helper went to customer service at edgars westville, it left her distressed and traumatised. The incompetent staff of edgars westville at customer service took the two item away from my helper and accused her of bring a false docket and when she claim that she purchase the items from the same store and received that docket the staff accused her of stealing the items and that's when another staff at customer service said they remember seeing her purchasing the items, but the person assisting her refused to listen. The staff lied that they checked security cameras and took the items away from her.

I bought a set of Skechers Fusion takkies for my husbands birthday, when returning to get another size Edgars Westgate, Roodepoort did not have the size. I am under debit review since June 2009. My edgars account was paid as per court order date 19 may 2011. The final payment was made three June 2013.

I have been calling and calling Edgars Melrose Arch, they do not answer the fon, when they finally answer, they put me on hold and later hang up the fon. What kind of service is this??? Not only are they waisting my time, but my money aswel... this is unacceptable.

Approached the manager Anusha and asked her that I still require another Two without even checking she just responded if it is not on the shelf then we out of stock. I have been visiting the clinique beauty counter at edgars pavillion in durban on several occasions. i have been purchasing thousands of rands off products on two prior occasions which did not seem to assist me.

When i visited the clinique counter in the gateway mall this sat, i was informed that i had been incorrectly advised about the products i have been previously using.

I am extremely disappointed about this and it leads me to wonder how experienced and well trained the staff at these counters are to be advising us on face products!

I wish to express my utmost disapointment in Edgars the Glen. Every Friday,Saturday and Sunday there is no service. Not enough tills open. I wanted to buy the Levi jeans on special and a Guess handbag. The que was allmost out the door. Out of all the pay points only one was operating with three tellers. There was a big sale on and been the end of the month- with no service. I had to put my things back and go to boardmans to pay my account.Why is this service so bad? Shocked at lack of service at Century City Branch. No-one on the floor to assist and many other customers complained who were standing in line to pay when I raised the concern for help on the floor.
It looks like a cheap shop with little stock.

I am absolutely appalled at how I have been treated at your branch “The Glen” this past Sunday. My husband received the 30% discount SMS on all boots, etc, his cell number 0832334797. This SMS DID NOT STATE “except Steve Madden and Aldo” I purchased a pair of Aldo boots and after the manager was called “Simangele” who proceeded to verify the sms, she granted the 30% discount on the boots. On Sunday, purchased the brown boot as a wore the black one and found its fit perfect, the same manager refused the discount!?! She used the excuse “I honored it yesterday and cannot do the same today!?!
