I would like to report a concern that I have regarding Bauer hockey pants that my son received as a gift. There is a defect in these pants that we only noticed after he had been wearing them. At the waistline there is Bauer written at the waistline and it is written upside down. I went to check at Canadian Tire, but unfortunately they can not be returned because they have been worn and we have no receipt. He no longer wants to wear them because of this defect. I was informed to contact the company. I have been buying Bauer equipment for many years since my son is five years old. He is now 17 years old and would like to continue buying your equipment. Hopefully you will be able to help me. Thank you.

I recently purchased hockey equipment for my son, he wore it for one week of hockey school. It is already falling apart. I live in a small community and travelled two hours to the store to make our purchase. The gloves were the only ones left of that kind. We have purchased a goalie mask for my son for just under $1000 this past July. My son came home and there is a huge crack in the fiberglass in the front of the mask. We spoke with the retailer and have heard nothing on it and it has been over a month. We paid good money for a top of the line mask and would like to get it repaired or replaced. Here is the problem that I have. I just purchased the new Bauer Odin S190 ($500) and I found out that I cannot put the Step Steele Blade because Bauer has yet to approve this pattern. Will this happen soon or should I return the skates so that I can purchase a different brand that will accomodate the blade? The Step Steele has made a serious change in his game all around. Please advise ASAP what the intensions are with the Step Steel so that I can decide if I keep the new skates and just wait or return them

I called your customer service phone number and it is just a "brush off", where an auto attendant sends you to a retailer. Not very impressive. My problem is a pair of Nexus 6000 skates I purchased on September 1, 2015 at Sportchek in Toronto, Ontario. I first used them in the first week of October 2015 and have had two blade problems since. In December 2015, I had a broken blade and on February 6, 2016, the blade holder broke on my left skate. I am 130 kilometers from the nearest repair dealer, in Fredericton, NB, so it is very inconvenient to travel there and be without skates while awaiting parts and repairs. At what point should I expect Bauer to replace these defective skates ?.

Very disappointing after paying $750 plus tax for what we believed good quality skates Bauer X900. There are no stitches or traces of any, obviously glued without stitching, a manufacturing flaw. Holes for the stitching on toe present, but zero stitches. Bauer would like me to send the skate back and pay for stitching which was clearly missed during your manufacturing process. Quality is going down hill at Bauer and customer service are not taking care of their customers. Forget the warranty, the repair should be covered on manufacturer flaws. We were only out of a 30 day warranty by a few weeks. I understand that there can be manufacturing lemons, just repair and give me what I paid for.

I bought this NME ten helmet for my son in Feb 2015. Early in the 2015 Minor Midget AAA season he took a puck to the point of the chin area on the helmet and it fractured the rolled carbon fiber seam. I have attached pictures of the fracture. I would not expect a helmet to fracture this easily. Especially when they are retailing for approx $950. Is this the result of a defect in the helmet?.

I purchased Bauer 1X skates around August. The rep told me there was an issue (warranty or recall) with the LS4 steel. He took that steel out and put it LS2 steel. He took all my information and said it will be four to six weeks, they will arrive in the mail at your house. It is now October, I want the steel I purchased the $900 skates with. My name is Grant my son Kyle purchased a pair of nexus 1000 skates form Source for Sports Garb and Gear in Goderich Ontario Canada one year ago and on October the 3rd the right skate blade holder went bad we returned the skates to the store where we had purchased and were told the skates we warranty and the blade was ordered from the rep. Hi there, I have recently bought your Bauer 1x senior Skates size 8D. The skates fit perfectly expect the my right foot big toe is rubbing on the toe box causing the outside of my big toe to become aggravated and inflammed. This is progressing to become a problem. To whom this may concern, I am a firm believer in bauer products. Lately I've had bad luck with hockey sticks. I have bought three bauer nxg sticks this season and they have all broke in the same spot. I play single A so it is not like the intense level of hockey is causing the stick to break. I am also a student still in school and I am finding it hard to keep replacing these sticks. I understand it's past the warranty period by approximately two months, I'm just wondering if there is anything possible that can be done because I would like to continue to use bauer products especially the sticks. I have purchased the Bauer Vapour 7.0 skates about two years ago from hockeylife. Up until this October the lining inside my skate has been bothering me and bruising my ankle making it hard for me to skate. These were expensive skates and i feel that this should not be happening after only two years. I tried to remold them and this has not worked. This is very disappointing to me because i have been a proud Bauer customer using majority of my equipment from Bauer over my years of hockey. Please try to assist me as best as possible.
