Ms. Laveta Baker CallsSep 12, 2017

We are living in constant dust due to lots of traffic on our gravel road. The Clinton county road dEPArtment decided to run to road graders in tandom to tear up our roads with no hope of any rain in the near future to keep the dust down. Our road 348th st is at the end of highway N clinton county, Lafayette township with our address being Stewartsville/Hemple Mo. We are getting into the harvesting season and the dust (since not much wind) just hangs in the air and is hard to breathe to do any work outside. Why, since this road, 348th st, ends at a blacktop 'N' and runs into 'K' which goes into Stewartsville, can not have some kind of a hard surface? Many cut thru this road and looks to us that it would benefit the county thru endless gradings to have a better road to end some of the dust and money involved with grading and adding gravel. We have complained numerous times to the county to no avail. Can something be done about the dust?.
