We booked a package on February 23, 2018 for $1267. 29. Today, February 26, we received an email, with the same package, for $1209. We made a phone call to enquire, and were told “there’s nothing that can be done”. Why are you not crediting my package? If you aren’t able to give me the lower price, then why do you send me another email with the lower price, after I’ve already booked. This makes me angry, and very unhappy with Expedia. Ca. This is poor customer service, and I feel like I’ve been duped. I’m definately going to make travel arrangements elsewhere in the future, and will tell everyone I know about how you operate. I booked a return flight this morning to Tenerife with Expedia. Ca (Feb 6-Feb20). The confirmation from Expedia was the same itinerary requested EXCEPT for a significant error in the return flight which included an OVERNIGHT LAYOVER in Madrid— not the three hour10min layover on the original request. I have $899 credit for having cancelled a flight to US. I asked to booked a fly within Canada which the fly would cover the credit. Being told it will cost me additional $433 due to having change location and tax difference, I refused, but i call again the next day and another clerk told me I must pay $567. 94 for same fly, I refused. What is wrong with this picture? I'm veteran, saving up monthly $ for a trip and having expedia. Ca stealing from me, not happy

This is not a complaint, but an attempt to help a friend try to redeem a purchase not used because of illness and now death. The particulars are for a flight booked for two people from Grande Prairie, Alberta to Edmonton, Alberta for a doctors appointment. Booked by Susan Krzyozkowski for October 29, 2017 and returning on October 31, 2017. Itinerary number 7298409578635. Package was purchased with her mother's credit card and she would like to get refunded because they could not use or cancel the flight due to Susan being hospitalized and dying in hospital.
