Lal Bahadur college - Warangal was established in 1970 jointly by the Osmania Graduates’ Association and Exhibition Society, Hyderabad with two sections of pre-university courses in Arts & Commerce and one section of B.A & B.Com. The Lal Bahadur college - Warangal was shifted to the present sprawling campus spread over an area of 25 acres in 1972.

Lal Bahadur college - Warangal Auditorium-cum Indoor Games Complex accommodates nearly 800 to 1000 students is provided to conduct youth festivals, cultural and literary programmes in addition to proving a gym, girls’ NCC Office, physical education office, indoor Shuttle Badminton court and indoor Table Tennis, Chess, Carroms etc.

There is a separate Poultry farm under the Poultry Department to conduct the “Earn While You Learn” scheme for the poultry students. Lal Bahadur college - Warangal library has plenty of books on various disciplines which lead the students to be in forefront. There is a spacious reading room where a number of Magazines, Periodicals, Professional Journals, Bulletins and Dailies are available. The reading room will be kept open from 9-30 a.m. to 5-00 p.m. Students can make use of the facility during leisure time.
For training the Lal Bahadur college - Warangal students three counselors have been appointed i.e., Dr. Rudra Saibaba as mentor for Analytical Skills, Dr.P.Rama Devi as mentor for Communication Skills and Sri S.V.Ramana Reddy as mentor for Computer Skills.JKC monitoring cell is also constituted with Dr.R.Saibaba as Coordinator, Dr.D.Swadesh, Dr.Ch.V.N.Reddy, Dr.A.V.Ramana Charya and Dr.P.Rama Devi as members to undertake the activities of JKC at our centre as per the guidelines of CCE, Hyderabad. Department of Poultry has also undertaken Campus Placement programmes and firms like Venkateshwara Hatcheries, Tirumala Hatcheries etc. visited the college and all the outgoing students got campus placement.
