I had booked a flight March 16 2018 from San Jose Costa Rica to Managua Nicaragua. Recently there is an ongoing civil strife and the US embassy has issued a warning to family member of its embassy to leave Nicaragua. The Canadian government has issued similar warnings to its citizens, The violence and deaths continue while businesses close down, and the streets of Managua are unsafe to travel. Under this state of civil strife I would like to request a refund of my paid fare or a full credit with Copa for travel at a future date when peace resumes in Nicaragua. I realize that your normal policy for refund does not allow for refunds, but in this extenuating circumstance I would ask you to consider my request. I have enjoyed traveling with Copa Airlines in the past and I hope to continue to do so in the near future. Sincerely.

I have booked a flight with Copa Airlines several months in advance. Few days before the scheduled departure date they call me to notify me that they changed the departure time to a later time. After spending over two hours on the phone with customer service, they were unable to helping me solving my questions. Customer service representatives did not want to transfer me to talk to a supervisor. After insisted for several times I was finally connected to a supervisor. Even the supervisor was not able or willing in trying to solve my concerns. I am very disappointed how Copa Airlines treats its customers. My experience with customer service was extremely poor to say the least.

I have been trying to contact someone in Customer Service to reply to my request for a refund of a ticket I was forced to buy at the Copa counter in Orlando. I have sent multiple emails to Customer Service, spoken to at least seven different people and was finally told that my request had been escalated to a priority. It has been over two months since I began this seemingly futile attempt to be heard and receive some sort of response. The reservation in question is 230-2169365598 issued on March 16th for September 1st. I am certain should you look into this matter there are multiple references to my case. I need help to bring resolution to this matter.

My wife was charged an extra $175 for a carryon bag which she never was at any of her round trip tickedts before.coming home no one gave her a problem with this carryon and she wasn't charged. We want to get our money back for this problem. Also she has assigned seats for all four legs of this round trip with Copa. When she started out in Boston, Mass they asked her if she would be willing to give up her seat if needed for an extra $400. 00 and would get a new flight the next day. She said if you need her seat she would go the next day. The problem was they changed her assigned seating for all four legs and she was very upset and uncomfortable.
