Invertis Institute of Management Studies-IIMS, brainchild of a young entrepreneur Mr. Umesh Gautam, came into existence in July 1998. The rise from a modest 83 students to over 2000 students in 2007, has helped Invertis to be recognized as a hub of higher education in the region of Rohilkhand in Uttar Pradesh. The Institute has two postgraduate programmes - MBA & MCA and two undergraduate programmes - BBA and BCA. The year 2005 saw the addition of Invertis Institute of Engineering and Technology to the Invertis Group. Invertis Institute of Management Studies-IIMS provides to its students the entire infrastructure necessary to make student life an epoch to remember. This city being surrounded by the industries like Brooke Bond India Ltd. , Coca Cola, Camphor, Vadilal etc. That offers the students a feel of the Industrial atmosphere they will later venture into. Luxury buses and pick-up vans facility is provided to students and faculty between various points in the city to IIMS campus . With the purpose of fostering a sense of unity and belongingness , students at IIMS follow a dress code , as well.

The sprawling campus of Invertis Institute of Management Studies-IIMS located at Bareilly -Lucknow National Highway -24 covers over an area of over 50 acres. Housed amidst lush green surroundings , its architecture combines beauty with utilitarianism. The campus includes an Administrative Block, Teaching Block, a Library, a Computer Lab, Language Lab, separate dinning halls for boys and girls and three Hostels. It also has a Multipurpose Hall to accommodate around 1500 persons , at a time, which is used to conduct Seminars, Debates, Annual functions etc. All beautifully merged to present a breathtaking view of the institute. The Institute has around 700 Computer terminals and 8 high speed servers with latest hardware and software. On our Indigenously developed Clients are Windows XP/2000 workstation and linux based which gets authenticated and uses resources of the networked servers. Invertis Institute of Management Studies-IIMS has a well-stocked library with more than 11,000 titles and 29,500 volumes and 120 online IEEE journals & 58 journals in Management Section and more than 3200 titles and 7082 volumes in the Engineering Section. It has books covering all aspects of Management and Information Technology and Engineering and Technology with the latest editions from the best Indian and foreign publishers. The library subscribes 45 National and international magazines and journals and has also the Newspapers & 824 CDs. We are now going for Digital Library as well. The Institute has also been admitted as an institutional member of DELNET (Developing Library Network).The Institute subscribe on line Journals through INDEST AICTE consortium through which 120 Journals will be available to students. The institute provides canteen facility located within the Institute Campus. The canteen serves tea/snacks/lunch to the students as per their needs . The idea is to take care of their snacks/food requirements within the campus , facilitating their learning and education. Students are provided with sports facilities for Basket Ball , Volley Ball, Cricket, Table Tennis , Badminton , Gymnasium and other indoor games.

These managers are regularly invited to interact with students and give them the feel of real life business situations. Students benefit in their learning of functional disciplines with actual happenings in industry and then these students are picked up by the industry depending on their needs and suitability of a particular student or a group of students. The placement Brochure are prepared and sent to reputed industries and corporate houses. Students are actively involved in placement activities through Self-Promotional Membership.
