To ensure that law achieves the objectives for which it has been held in such a high esteem, the highest standard of legal education has to be maintained. Therefore, K C Law College provide quality legal education to the students of the State, who otherwise would have to go outside the State for 5-Year Law Degree Course after 10+2 examination, the K.C. Educational Society established a Law College at Muthi Jammu, in the year 2003. It started imparting instruction to I Semester students of 5-Year Degree of Bachelor of Laws course from 1st September, 2003, and started 3-year Degree of Bachelor of Laws course in the session 2005-06.

The K C Law College is located on Jammu-Akhnoor Road at Muthi in the K.C. Educational Complex, Ploura, which is around 5 Kms from the General Bus Stand, Jammu. Public transport is easily accessible to the college complex. However, the college conveyance to and fro will be made available provided the number of students opting for the same is viable.

The objectives of the K C Law College, inter alia, are: To impart quality legal education in order to imbue and promote legal, cultural and ethical values in the students and to inculcate in them the sense of responsibility towards the achievement of the objectives enshrined in the Constitution of India, To prepare the students to be humane and competent lawyers and also develop in them a sense of responsibility as law abiding citizens and to serve the society in the field of legal services, law reforms, policy planning and legislation etc, To prepare the students so that they promote legal awareness in the society so as to make it responsive towards human rights and human values to achieve social cohesion. Raging is banned in the campus. K C Law College offers Bachelor of Arts-Bachelor of Law Dual Degree(BA LLB) course.

The K C Law College has a collection of good number of Back Volumes of the important Law Reports and Law Journals besides the required number of Text as well as Reference books. The Library is also subscribing to various important Reports and Journals. The students are subject to the Rules and Regulations of the University of Jammu in the matters of discipline in the library, code of conduct, issue and return of the books and the like matters. Hostel for Girls is available at the K C Law College in common with women students of K.C. College of Education. Extension and guest lectures by the eminent personalities and the University Faculty is a regular feature of the college which benefits the students as well as the teachers.

An advanced computer Laboratory with advanced server and Broadband internet connection has been set up in the college. Besides imparting instruction to the students in the use of the computers, they are also trained to search relevant study material through the Internet. K C Law College students can have only filtered access to the internet. Apart from this, parents can check the attendance of their wards by visiting web site of the college so that they remain aware about the activities of their wards. The college has established a NSS unit in which 138 volunteers have been enrolled. The unit has organised camps on the theme of Healthy Youth for Healthy India.

The K C Law College students are provided with facilities of indoor games such as table-tennis, carom and chess in the respective common rooms. In the leisure time, they practice playing Cricket and grounds for playing Badmington and Volley-ball are being laid on the playground behind the college building.
