Pavaai College of Technology is the new offspring of Pavaai Varam Educational Trust. Within a decade Paavai Educational Institutions have witnessed a stupendous and meteoric rise and growth serving for the cause of quality education. Pavaai College of Technology is the eight institutions under Pavaai Varam Educational Trust. It offers degrees in Engineering and Technology and it has got the All India Council for Technical Education approval on 17.06.2009. This new institution has been granted affiliation by Anna University, Coimbatore on 03.07.2009 for the conduct of the following courses with the intake indicated against the branches.
"Education is the process of growth and is continuous and lifelong. Educational Institutions should be the home and repository of fresh thoughts and new orientations. Whatever may be the transformation, it will be clear that education has two main aspects, the cultural aspects which make a person’s grow and the production aspect which makes a person do things. These two aspects are not exclusive of each other. Education, science based and in-coherence with Indian culture and values alone can provide the foundation as also the instrument for the nations security and welfare and it will also infuse the youth with central cost of values to transmit them a cultural heritage".

Paavai Varam Educational Trust was constituted by an eminent professional - a leading Chartered Accountant, an Industrialist and a Pediatric Surgeon. The trust functions at Rasipuram, the oldest town, ruled by Valvil Ori, then is known for ghee, silk, sago and now for 'Quality Education'. Rasipuram a place which has tireless and hard working people, a place known for hospitality and a contemporary place recognized for Professional Education. To be the Diamond on the Crown of Rasipuram, Pavaai Varam Educational Trust was established with the basic principle of providing a purposeful and goal oriented technical education.
Library at Pavaai College of Technology, Namakkal DT, Tamil Nadu State. Graduate students, faculties and staff members of different branches of engineering from various departments are working under this Institution. The PCE Library underwent considerable modernization in terms of traditional holdings of back volume collections, digital resources and electronic databases etc. The Library uses Automation Software for its operations; with a fully bar-coded collection and offers OPAC service throughout the campus LAN and Online.
Various sports includes Foot ball, Cricket, Volley ball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, Carrom Board and Basket Ball. Students are given opportunities to participate at College level, District level, State level and National level Sports meets. College has a separate play ground for students with well equipped facilities to get practice.
