The Cochin College - Kochi was founded on July 15,1967, in response to an increasing demand for higher education in Cochin. The The Cochin College - Kochi symbolises the hopes and aspirations of the public of Cochin and is a milestone in the crowded history of the Commercial town of Cochin. Slowly but steadily the institution grew into a post-gradute college in 1995 from its humble beginning as a junior college in 1967.
