Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association – TMCAA established in 1982, is presently one of the leading centers of medical training in Kerala. Ever since it's inception it has been giving inspiration to many glittering achievements in the field of medicare both in India and abroad. Thrichur Medical College Alumni Association is an organization of the past and present students of Thrice Medical College and the Teachers who served as faculty in this august institution. Our motto is accadamic and infrastructural development of the Alma matter. College offers different kind of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses.
Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association – TMCAA is situated at Near Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd Thrissur Medical college Office complex, M.G.Kavu, P.O. Thrissur, Kerala. There are times when we feel we are sinking into the deep sea of troubles and trials, we seek for something to cling on to, we cry for someone to lift us up from the stormy waters. The CME Programme started in 2000 for Junior Doctors is instrumental in elevating TMCAA to enviable positions.
Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association – TMCAA principle is professionalism and structured orientation. It is not a private organization in any sense of the word, and is against the privatization of the Medical College or part thereof. Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association – TMCAA is unique in that it has made pioneering steps in realization of its ideals, as envisaged in the byelaws. TMCAA is established to conduct activities supporting the academic and infrastructural development of the Alma mater.
Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association – TMCAA library is well stocked, covering a varied range of topics on all related fields. The library is computerized and air-conditioned. There are also a number of general books aiming at the overall mental development of the students. Medical journals and books worth more than Rs.75000 to the College Library. TVs for pediatrics ward and house surgeons' quarters. About 450 good quality chairs to college auditorium. Scanner and printer to the College Central Library. Providing LCD projectors with operator for Governmental functions free of cost.
Conduct of Student oriented programmes like "Stress Management", "Behavioral strategies for Medical Students" and "Learning to Learn". Imparting free computer training to our student members. Audio visual equipment for various departments (Dept Gynaecology, Forensic medicine, Chest & TB, Biochemistry & Physiology). Computers (Dept. Radio diagnosis, dermatology & Pharmacology, and pediatrics, neurology).
